Hope Scholars Eligibility, Dates, and Information

Eligibility

Students are eligible for the Hope Scholars Program under the circumstances below. There is no age cap for Hope Scholars. Students can start applying after they have submitted their SIR (Statement of Intent to Register) to UC San Diego.

Current or former foster youth
Homeless youth
Students under legal guardianship
Other disconnected youth. Cases will vary. Please contact the coordinator for questions

Be sure to include essay responses. Incomplete applications will not be accepted!
