Aidan Tojino

Aidan has expressed the importance of education to overcome barriers and become an active participant member of society. He organized writing sessions for underground scholars and supported formerly incarcerated students apply to UC San Diego by helping them with their essays. He always emphasizes education has the key to one’s own potential to succeed in life and overcome social and economical barriers.

Diana Torres

Diana lives and breathes Education. She not only educates her peers through her roles as a facilitator for MSTP and IA for EDS, she gets involved in every outreach opportunity that allows her to speak with K-12 students about her experience as a first-gen college student so that she can help them and inspire them to reach further.

Brycen Barron

Everything that Brycen does is either in pursuit or in service of Education. His McNair research focused on comparing educational systems abroad to that of the United States. His extra-curricular activities include serving as an MSTP tutor for OASIS, an instructional assistant for the Educational Studies department, and as a secondary education tutor and mentor at local high schools in underserved areas through the PAL (Partners at Learning) program.
