Requirements:
- Artist Biography (100 words about you). If selected, this biography will be published in the online and print journal
- Description of project (maximum of 300 words):
- The inspiration/meaning behind your project
- What you hope to convey to your audience
- Steps for completing the project
- Project Title
- Project Category
- Creative writing (nonfiction, fiction, or poetry)
- Visual art (painting/drawing/photography/mixed media)
- Multimedia (audio/visual/computing arts)
- Work sample of proposed project (this can be a written draft/excerpt, sketch, or unfinished visual/recording)
If selected:
- April 8th – Candidates will be notified
- April 15th – Deadline for candidates to accept offer
- Fellows will be required to attend 3 workshops in the Spring quarter during which they will be provide updates on their projects and feedback to their peers
Spring Timeline for Accepted Fellows:
- Week 4 – Welcome! Introductions & presentation of project ideas
- Week 6 – Updates on progress & roundtable workshop
- Week 9 – Updates on final touches & roundtable workshop.
- Week 10 – Complete and submit project by Friday of Week 10
- Summer 2022 – Digital publication released
