Mission

The OASIS Transfer-to-Career Program (OTC) empowers a new generation of diverse leaders by equipping high-achieving transfer students to realize their full potential and be competitive in the global job market. The fellowship program creates community and career development for transfer students through socio cultural community, personal growth and introspection, faculty mentorship, and professional enrichment opportunities.  

Benefits

The OASIS Transfer-to-Career Fellowship Program uses as holistic and student-centered approach to work with transfer students with a focus on building a sociocultural community at UCSD and career development for the future. Our services include:

  • Peer Mentorship
  • Career Peer Educator for resume review and industry connections
  • Academic Internship Program (AIP) Counselor to plan for on-campus experiential learning opportunities
  • Transfer Career Foundation Series hosted by faculty of the Rady School of Manafemen
  • $300 in Textbook & Supplies Support upon successful completion of the program
  • Letters of Recommendation for graduate/professional school, employment, and more
  • Social Events for community building and networking
  • Workshops on a variety of topics for academic, personal, and career development
