Due to the shelter-in-place orders from the California Governor, the OASIS staff has been busy preparing to adjust our services to come to life in a digital world.  Please continue checking this page as well as the Student Affairs COVID-19 page for continuous updates on student resources during this transitional period.

FAQs for Students 

Is the OASIS office still open?

For the safety and wellbeing of our students and community, our office is currently closed until further notice

What do I do if I do not have the appropriate technology (e.g. laptop, wifi, etc.)?

Visit the VCSA technology resources page for more information.

Will I still be able to connect with my OASIS mentor?

Yes, all of our mentor sessions are going online!  If you already have a mentor, please contact them to schedule an appointment.  If you need a mentor or are unsure who your mentor is, please email oasis@ucsd.edu and we will find one for you.

Will I still be able to access OASIS's academic resources?

Yes, we will be conducting our academic resource workshops and individual appointments remotely.  Please refer back to this page for the Summer 2020 schedule.

What is happening with Summer Bridge and TRIO's Summer Experience?

We are still proceeding with our planning for both of our signature summer programs.  As we receive news from the university, we will make updates to this page.

I have concerns about how my experience will be at UC-San Diego in Spring. Who do I talk to?
