- Access to the Application page will begin after May 1st.
- Summer Bridge applications must be submitted no later than midnight (PST) WEDNESDAY, JUNE
17, 2009.

- Application page access codes will be given after May 1st via e-mail and/or post mail.
- TRANSCRIPTS: Please be sure that your final
high school transcript is received by UC San Diego by the July 15th
deadline! The transcript should be sent to:

The Summer Bridge Program can only be attended by those students
whose final transcript has been validated by the UC San Diego Office of
Admissions and Relations With Schools. The validation process
confirms that all freshman admissions provisions have been cleared.
If you have received a grade lower than a "C", in any A-G coursework
during grade 12, or your weighted GPA for A-G coursework in grade 12
is below a 3.0, you must provide a written explanation as soon as
possible to the Office of Admissions and Relation With Schools.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND TRANSCRIPTS TO THE SUMMER BRIDGE OFFICE!
- IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS: Take care
of all immunization requirements and send in verifying documents to
UC San Diego Office of Admissions & Relations with Schools by August 1,
2009. Please be advised that you will NOT be able to
register for Fall Quarter 2009 classes unless you have met all of
the UC San Diego Immunization Requirements.
- HEALTH INSURANCE: It is strongly
recommended that all Summer Bridge students acquire health insurance
available for use in San Diego before entering the Summer Bridge
Program. Those students who attend the program without health
insurance will do so at their own expense. Those who have health
insurance will be required to show valid proof upon entering the
program.
- ENTRY LEVEL WRITING REQUIREMENT: If you have not yet satisfied the Entry Level
Writing Requirement (Subject A), please visit

- MATH PLACEMENT EXAM: You must have some type of Math Placement test results in
order to enroll in any UC San Diego math course. Please visit
http://mathtesting.ucsd.edu for more information.
- COLLEGE ORIENTATION: Make sure to sign up and attend your college orientation. The
sooner, the better. Please check the new undergraduate student portal at http://newstudent.ucsd.edu
- ADVANCED PLACEMENT SCORES: Make sure that UC San Diego's Office of Admissions & Relations with
Schools receives your Advanced Placement exam scores.
- UC SAN DIEGO E-MAIL: Begin to check your UC San Diego email accounts. This is the official
mode of communication at UC San Diego.
