• TRANSCRIPTS: Please be sure that your final high school and/or community college transcripts are received by UCSD by the July 15, 2008 deadline! Transcripts should be sent to:

  The OASIS Transition Programs can only be attended by those students whose final transcripts have been validated by the UCSD Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools. The validation process confirms that all admissions provisions have been cleared.
  
• For Freshmen: If you have received a grade lower than a "C", in any A-G coursework during grade 12, or your weighted GPA for A-G coursework in grade 12 is below a 3.0, you must provide a written explanation as soon as possible to the Office of Admissions and Relation With Schools.
  
  PLEASE DO NOT SEND TRANSCRIPTS TO THE OASIS TRANSITION PROGRAMS!
   
• HEALTH INSURANCE
  It is strongly recommended that all OASIS Transition Program students acquire health insurance available for use in San Diego before entering any of our summer programs. Those students who attend our summer programs without health insurance will do so at their own expense. Those who have health insurance will be required to show valid proof upon entering our summer programs.
   
• IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS: Take care of all immunization requirements and send in verifying documents to UCSD Office of Admissions & Relations with Schools by August 1, 2008.
  Please be advised that you will NOT be able to register for Fall Quarter 2008 classes unless you have met all of the UCSD Immunization Requirements.
   
• If you have not yet satisfied the Entry Level Writing Requirement (Subject A), please visit http://basicwriting.ucsd.edu for more information.
   
• You must have Math Placement test results in order to enroll in any UCSD math course. Please visit http://mathtesting.ucsd.edu for more information.
   
• Make sure to sign up and attend your college orientation. The sooner, the better.
   
• Make sure that UCSD’s Office of Admissions & Relations with Schools receives your Advanced Placement exam scores if you have taken any.
   
• Begin to check your UCSD email accounts. This is the official mode of communication at UCSD. http://www-no.ucsd.edu/student.html
  
• Please check the new undergraduate student portal at newstudent.ucsd.edu.
