Welcome to the Academic Transition Program!FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS:
- If I participate in SB, does that mean that I automatically
become an ATP student during the academic year?
- Yes. SB is a four-week, residential program in August 2008.
All SB students continue to receive priority services from OASIS
through ATP during the academic year (September 2008-June 2009).
- Can I participate in more than one of the three OASIS Transition
Programs?
- No. Spaces in OTP are limited compared to the number of
incoming first-year students. As such, we try to serve as many
students as possible. If you are offered the opportunity to
participate in SB or SSSP, you should! If for some reason you
are not accepted to either SB or SSSP, and/or you cannot commit
to their summer activities, then you may be considered for
acceptance to ATP.
- I am still confused about the 3 different OASIS Transition
Programs (SB, ATP, & SSSP). What are the main differences between
them?
