ASKED QUESTIONS:
- If I participate in Summer Bridge, does that mean that I automatically
become an ATP student during the academic year?
- Yes. Summer Bridge is a four-week, residential program in August.
All Summer Bridge students continue to receive priority services from OASIS
through ATP during the academic year (September - June of the following year).
- Can I participate in more than one of the three OASIS Transition
Programs?
- No. Spaces in OTP are limited compared to the number of
incoming first-year students. As such, we try to serve as many
students as possible. If you are offered the opportunity to
participate in Summer Bridge or STEP, you should! If for some reason you
are not accepted to either Summer Bridge or STEP, and/or you cannot commit
to their summer activities, then you may be considered for
acceptance to ATP.
- I am still confused about the 4 different OASIS Transition
Programs (Summer Bridge, ATP, STEP, & TRiO SSSP). What are the main differences between
them?
