Academic Transition Program*-
Hires Academic Transition Counselors to provide support and direction to new freshmen.

Language and Writing Program*-
Hires tutors to provide individual and group tutoring in writing.

Math and Science Tutorial Program*-
Hires tutors and workshop leaders to provide group tutoring in biology, chemistry, math and physics.

Student Support Services Program*-
Hires mentors and tutors (in math, science, and writing) to provide individual support for students.

OASIS Learning Communities-
Hires mentors to provide support and direction in weekly seminars for first-year students.

EDS 116 - Completion of EDS 116 and a component specific practicum is required for each of these positions.  EDS 116 will be offered Spring Quarter 2009 as well as a practicum for each component.  Please inquire with the specific component you are interested in for instructions to register for EDS 116 (please see contacts listed).  EDS 116 is not required for OASIS Learning Community Positions.
